They were going to be destroyed the following day. She turned into my disabled daughters best and most loyal companion. Chrissie lived life in high gear. Hunting, following our horses, or tackling every hill in Northern Ontario, none of it was too big for her oversized heart and boundless courage. She balanced her zest for action with long patient hours spent sitting at our side. We lost Chrissie in October of 2003. It was too soon."
