Danpo

December 7, 1996 - September 13, 2004

"Danpo means first in Tibetan. It seemed a fitting name for this fellow. He was my first born Tibetan Spaniel puppy, the first born of his dam, and the first born of his sire. He was loving, fiercely loyal, too intelligent for his own good sometimes, and he loved to swim. The muddier the better.

We lost Danny last year to cancer. We still have his parents, one sister, one brother, his aunt, and even now a little niece. But the hole he left is still noticeable, and much too large. The balance is gone. Our Danny is gone."
