Making play dough
Home Made Play Dough
3 cups flour
½ cups salt
food coloring
¼ cup of vegetable oil
About 1 cup of HOT tap water
In a bowl mix together oil, food coloring salt and some of the hot
water. Dissolve the salt in the liquid mixture. Add in the flour. Play
dough should not be sticky. If it is add more flour. If it is to dry add
in reserved hot water. Do this until the mixture is smooth and flexible.
You can keep this in the fridge for about 1 week. This play dough is
quick and is an easy clean up. Use some old cookie cutters and a
rolling. The dollar stores also have a variety of play dough
accessories. This recipe is safe even for the little tasters in your
family.
That’s all for now! Be sure to look for us next month when we look into
positive re-direction in younger children.
