Spring Cleansing Part 1
It’s spring cleansing time folks! Just as you clean your house each
spring, you must also cleanse your body. In the next two installments I
will give you ideas on how to spring cleanse your body. In Part I we
will discuss the ‘lightening diet’ and yeast cleanse. In Part II we will
discuss juice fasting and master cleanser fasting.
The lightening diet consists of fruit vegetable and whole grains, just
like in Genesis 1:29 in the Bible. The point is to make your body
efficient by eating 4-6 fruit per day, 6-8 vegetables per day, whole
grains such as brown rice with beans and lentils, or whole grains such
as amaranth, millet, oatmeal, kamut, quinoa, which can be purchased from
the health food store. Fish with scales and fins can be added for people
with greater protein requirements. Do this for 3 to 4 weeks beginning in
mid-March for best results to prevent spring allergies, colds, and flus.
The yeast cleanse consists of caprylic acid that kills yeast, bentonite
clay which cleans the intestinal walls and psyllium husks, which bulks
up the stool and pushes everything out of the body. Follow up with
acidophilus to replenish the good bacteria and restore B complex and
vitamin K production. The point of this cleanse is to release the body
of toxic yeast which causes fatigue, pain and bloating.
See you next time when we discuss juice fasting and master cleanser.
