Hillsport,
north of Manitouwadge, is situated in a secluded and scenic part of
Northern Ontario
.
Though its history is sketchy, the community was named for a
general superintendent with the C.N.R.
Expect
some excellent fishing, superb hunting and great hiking trails in
the area. The Hillsport
Wilderness Camps offer everything from experienced guides, first
rate equipment and accommodations to home-cooked meals, served in
the main lodge. The
cabins are clean, modern and private.
Or, for the rugged individuals, there are also outpost tent
camps.
One
thing you do not want to do is forget to bring your camera.
In the boreal forest, a photo opportunity may be just around
the corner.
