If you've found an Injured or Orphaned Animal

If you've found an Injured or Orphaned Animal

What do you do now?

First, leave the animal alone until you are SURE it needs your help! If you're not sure, contact someone who can help you.

If you decide to intervene, BE CAREFUL! Remember, these animals are wild.

DON'T feed or give water to ANY animal without proper instruction form someone who knows. Cow's milk is fine for humans, but can be deadly for other animals!

Keep the animal warm and comfortable until you can transport it to a rehabilitator.
